When writing for engineering, conducting an audience analysis is crucial to ensure effective communication and engagement with the intended readers. Understanding the audience’s background, knowledge level, and specific needs allows the writer to tailor the content appropriately. You have to know your audience so you can write it according to them.

In my audience sheet, my audience is very specific to only one person. In my memo I addressed to Teresa Walker because she is the executive director of health and wellness in city college. If I am specific about the audience then my issue will be faster. This is beneficial for engineers because they will know in what kind of style should they write to deliver their product.
